Evaluation of the influence geometric parameters of a cylindrical specimen for tensile adhesion testing of thermally sprayed coating

چکیده

The problem of calculating the required adhesion strength and accuracy measuring adhesive/cohesive thermally sprayed coatings (thermal barrier, electrically insulating, irradiation) on a cylindrical test specimen is practical interest from point view improving reliability highly loaded parts internal combustion engines agricultural machines, various aerospace nuclear industries. There have been carried out set studies application in practice standard method for assessing or cohesion insulation plasma coating Al2O3 elongated specimens with diameter 25 mm accordance standards ASTM C633-13, GOST 9.304-87. In order to assess influence witness specimen’s geometry at common adhesion, there were selected 6 types specimens. A finite-element stress analysis was used evaluate stress-strain state two bonded same by tensile testing. uniformity distribution interface coating/substrate found three Compared testing specimen, applied significance conducted that it possibility obtain more accurate experimental data bond strength. also needed further research field determining most optimal evaluating thermal spray coating.
